  • The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the Co-Directors of TGRCNM. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative functions, managing schedules, communications, and special projects. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a passion for supporting a mission-driven organization.

    • Salary: $18.00-$19.00 per hour; up to 20 hours per week

    • Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico

    • Travel: Occasional

    • Administrative Support: Manage the Director’s calendar, coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and handle correspondence.

    • Communication: Serve as a liaison between the Executive Director and internal/external stakeholders. Draft, edit, and proofread communications.

    • Financial Support: Administer simple financial tasks as assigned, including receipt collection and expense reporting. 

    • Project Management: Assist in coordinating and executing special projects, including events, fundraising campaigns, and board meetings.

    • Document Management: Prepare and maintain confidential documents, reports, and records. Organize and file documents as needed.

    • Travel Coordination: Arrange travel itineraries, accommodations, and logistics for the Co-Directors. 

    • Meeting Preparation: Prepare materials for meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.

    • Office Management: Oversee office supplies, equipment, and general office organization.

    • Board Support: Provide administrative support to the Board of Directors, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and maintaining records.

    • The ideal candidate has 2 years of experience as an administrative assistant, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.

    • Strong organizational aptitude, including planning, delegating, and task management. 

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft applications and Google Business Suite.

    • Strong ability to analyze data and information to improve decision-making. 

    • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work.

    • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently.

    • Demonstrated client/customer service skills. 

    • Spanish-language proficiency is a plus.

    • Strong commitment to serving marginalized and disconnected communities.

    • Compassionate and caring; able to see everyone as deserving of care and respect.

    • Strong ability to collaborate and communicate with people from varied life experiences.  

    • High-integrity work ethic; commitment to work alongside and maintain positive and healthy relationships with co-workers, staff, volunteers, and interns. 

    • Flexible and adaptable; must work well in high pressure and changing situations. 

    • Ability to interrupt/challenge bias and discrimination and engage with people in a manner that promotes equity and inclusion.

    • Physical demands: Sitting, walking, lifting up to 20 pounds, reaching, carrying, speaking, listening.

    • Work environment: An environment of high stress and fast pace of crisis intervention. The protocol for safety and security is a priority. Use of phones, in-person assistance, computer, fax, and other general office machinery.
