“I personally have always been against trans people. But hearing Mr. Lawyer speak made me understand that we are all human.”

— Training Participant

We offer exceptional training on transgender lives and issues for any class, workplace, or group that invites us. English and Spanish language training are offered.

Our Transgender Cultural Fluency Training lays the foundation for participants to gain a better understanding of what it means to be transgender, clarify common misconceptions about transgender people, become familiar with the challenges transgender communities face, and learn ways to be a strong and engaged advocate for transgender people. This training is 2 hours long.

We also provide a Transgender 201 Training which covers more topics in greater depth and can be tailored to the type of environment in which the training is held. This training typically takes two hours.

“I have always been very open-minded to things like this as I have had the privilege of being raised that way. However, I think that this [training] taught me how I should be supportive and offer allyship to the trans community, and how to make sure trans people I know feel safe, validated, supported, and appreciated. I really appreciated how the seminar was non-judgemental and very informative.”

“Overall, what I got out of the presentation were the simple, basic definitions of what it means to be trans, and how powerful and varying individual people’s experiences are. I’ve been overwhelmed with trying to explain those kinds of things to my family and friends, and this presentation gave me a starting point.”

“My main takeaway was about the fluidity of gender and expression, and how they don’t need to line up and you don’t need to conform to any certain kind of expression based on your gender or sex. It makes me rethink my own expression and the expression of others. I thought that the presenters were very informative and open.”
