Sarah Steadman, M.S.W, J.D., is a professor at the UNM School of Law where she co-directs the Child and Family Justice Clinic. She teaches classes on transgender legal issues and representing transgender clients, and her research and writing focuses on law reform for transgender youth. Prior to law teaching, Sarah was a child, adolescent, and family therapist.

Sarah is continually humbled by and grateful for the social justice advocacy, service commitment and impact of the Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico.
