Bunnie

Bunnie Cruse (she/her/hers)
Board Chair

Bunnie has been a staple of the LQBTQI+ community since 1994. She started her community building with The United Court of the Sandias (UCS) at age 21, and was elected Empress at age 28. At that time, Bunnie also joined the Youth-In-Transition Board of Directors.

Direct services like food, clothing, and shelter for the LQBTQI+ community are what Bunnie is most passionate about. She believes that her lived experiences as a survival sex worker, being homeless, and her battle with addiction are her biggest strengths when it comes to serving the community because she understands their struggle.

In addition to serving as Chairwoman of TGRCNM, Bunnie serves on the A Light In The Night Leadership Committee and The International Court Council, and has served as Queen Mother of UCS since 2013.

Bunnie has received the following recognition for her community work:

The Paul Gallagher Humanitarian Award
