Bré Anne Rivera is a Black Trans woman living with HIV in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Her political home is Detroit, Michigan where she served as co-creator and previous director of the Trans Sistas of Color Project, Michigan’s first trans women of color led organization. She has over ten years of movement, non-profit, and research experience with an expertise in HIV and trans communities. Bré currently works in philanthropy at the Groundswell Fund as program fellow of the Black Trans Fund; an incubated fund for black trans communities in the United States.
